Overview

Built for everyday city commuting, the Changan LUMIN is a cute, affordable pure-electric city car. Powertrain & Fuel Economy

The LUMIN is powered by a modular electric drive system delivering 35kW and 87N·m, with 0-50km/h acceleration of about 6.1 seconds — responsive and nimble for city-speed driving.
It uses BYD lithium iron phosphate batteries with a maximum capacity of 28.08kWh. CLTC driving range comes in three options of 130km, 205km and 301km to suit different commuting distances. Power consumption is impressively low at 9.8kWh per 100km, keeping daily charging costs minimal.
The 301km version fast-charges from 30% to 80% in about 0.58 hours. The 205km fast-charge version adopts a new battery platform (300V platform voltage) that achieves 30% to 80% fast charging in just 35 minutes at normal 25°C temperature. The NBooster intelligent braking system recovers braking energy to extend driving range. Battery warranty covers 8 years or 120,000km for lasting peace of mind.
