Built on Geely's dedicated SEA pure-electric platform, the Radar RD5 is offered in single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor four-wheel-drive versions.
The single-motor variant is powered by a 180kW (245Ps) permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 309N·m of torque. The dual-motor version produces a combined 280kW (381Ps) and 485N·m, providing strong pulling power for heavy loads and off-road driving. Acceleration reaches 0-100km/h in 6.9-7.8 seconds with a top speed of 160km/h.
Equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, it provides a CLTC driving range of up to 605km (310-605km on RWD versions, 330-520km on AWD versions), with 30%-80% DC fast charging in approximately 30 minutes — enough flexibility for daily work and long-distance trips. The steel-aluminum hybrid body and Ni55 safety battery protection add structural strength and battery safety.
The Radar RD5 is equipped with the "Radar Pilot" L2+ level intelligent driving system, comprising 3 millimeter-wave radars, 5 high-definition cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars.
Available functions cover adaptive cruise control (ACC), automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping assist (LKA), blind-spot monitoring (BSD) and rear cross-traffic alert. Parking is made effortless with automatic parking, remote parking and the 540° panoramic camera. Additional aids include front/rear parking sensors, hill-start assist and tire-pressure monitoring, improving safety and reducing driver fatigue across urban, highway and off-road scenarios.
